I've mentioned Build it Green here before but I thought I would post these pics to give you an idea of what the place looks like. It's a fabulous resource for low cost building materials, and loads of other stuff. These materials are kept out of landfills, which makes me feel like I'm at least attempting to be green.
It's a bit of a trek to it on the outer edge of Astoria but it's definitely an art student's (or person on a budget's) dream resource.
