In the midst of it all

This has been a busy week which included taking a day off in the middle of the week to go tile shopping. We unfortunately chose the crappiest day to go (torrential rain is not lovely). I'll post some photos of the lovely tiles as soon as I have a minute to download pics but this NY Times article, Renovating a Rental as if It Were Their Own, is my current inspiration. They did a beautiful job on their rental, though I have to say that they are nuts for going all out on a rental. I love the bathroom sink as it's what I want. Ours will be similar, but not as slick.
