Shower textile

We've needed shower curtains for a bit now and we just haven't found anything that makes sense for the space that would fit in our budget and taste. I was moving some of my Otomi textiles from Mexico and realized that they might be the right size for the shower area. So we clipped them up to the liner and mocked it up. Pics below with lights on and off. I'd love to know what people think. Too much or nice?

This orientation is with the animals in the center right side up. It makes the curtains a tad wide on the side and short on the bottom. We would have to add an extra tab of fabric on top if we kept it this way.

This orientation is just about the right size match with the liner but the animals in the center are flipped sideways.

What should we do? Should we make this the shower curtain? If so, which orientation?

Love the print; bright and strong and must be lovely to meet in the morning. I'd keep it sideways (last pictures) :)

Perhaps, it would help if the animals are seen not as animals but rather as abstract botanicals at first glance... Only after spending some time in the bathroom a viewer would actually realize - get to SEE - that the pattern is not of a flaura but that of fauna :) I agree - keep it sideways :) Luba
