Touring Recap

Crystal (of Homefront fame) and I made our way through 3.5 boroughs* on Saturday checking out awesome art, fueled by the great personalities we met along the way.

Going on a studio visit is almost like a peek into someone's innermost thoughts or at least a private part of their world. We got a a proper show and tell from Jenn Viola whose work we're totally psyched about. I'm not going to post any of her work or any one else's that we saw for copyright reasons plus we're still trying to figure some things out but I thought I'd show some glimpses of Saturday.

Ferrying across to G.I. for more art and sun

Governor's Island

Looking at art is great fun. Thank you to everyone we met and spoke with- we'll be in touch soon.

(*not sure how to count Governor's Island. It's a world unto its own.)

Ugh!

I just figured out that I'm going to miss the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn this year because I'll be in LA! Well, if you can make it, be sure to take some photos and let kme know how it went.

This year's event will be held June 14 + 15 from 11am - 7pm at the McCarren Park Pool!

You can see some of my photos from last year, right here.

Blogging Apartment Therapy Chicago

Two posts on AT Chicago that caught my eye today:

A bricks and mortar store in Chicago for Renegade Handmade, I would love to browse.

For those trying to go green, a paper towel alternative.
