One day when I go back to Guatemala, I will have to do all the things I missed the first time around. One place I am definitely interested in visiting are the ruins of Tikal, near the border of Belize. This NYTimes article along with the slide show gives a colorful account of what it's like there.

if you go again, you must also come to beautiful Belize --which I think is a bit different from the recent NYT article.
