It's been a while since my Breathing In project with Ann.  I'm working on posting a portion of it on the new website.

We just watched Lena Dunham's Tiny Furniture. Her sense of humor is great and her depiction of her generation of 20 somethings is spot on in many ways. I can't help but admire her parents' loft in that "I can't believe you live there" NY real estate envy sort of way. Looking forward to trying her tv series Girls.

Remembering Ann

Last month I went down to Kensington Row Bookstore in Maryland for a memorial reading for my dear friend Ann B. Knox. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet her circle of long-time friends, poets/ writers and her daughter Annie. This week on the Potamic Review blog, poet Elisavietta Ritchie shares her thoughts on her friendship with Ann through the years. I've now met a wonderful group of poets as a result of my collaboration with Ann. It's so nice to branch out and hear/ see/ read other forms of art. The Run Around

Sorry to not have popped in sooner. I have another cold clogging up my head. I'm just sitting here wising it would let up because it's so beautiful outside, everyday. It's torturous. I thought I'd share some pics from last weekend to make up for posting. Ross and I went to DUMBO with Jack, my cousin's cousin. He's visiting from TW and I thought I'd show him around Brooklyn a bit since he had no clue what the borough looked like. We walked around Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO and went to Grimaldi's, whose service is lacking but is still serving some amazing pies. We also saw some shows at NYPH so it was a lovely day.

I picked up a new Mr.T-shirt from my friend Noah. Love it.

I bought an old Coach bag from a stoop sale for $5.


We went to see my friend, Jennifer Williams's show [FLŌ] @ A.I.R. Gallery which is up until May 24, 2009 (This Sat!!!) It's an amazing show, so go!
